Bob Carey is a New York City based photographer who works with client's such as, Lexus, Oprah Magazine, MasterCard and PetsMart. Bob started producing photography at a very young age and is always producing images that leave a lasting impression on the viewers. The challenge with designing a new website for the client was trying to develop a site that showcases the large imagery while keeping an intuitive feel for his clients' needs.

Zenman designed a series of various websites for Bob Carey to review, using the photo as a main focal point on the page with minimal text and a clean logo. Bob displays a unique passion that had to be brought forth in his website. Every detail in the design of the website has a clean, crisp feel to showcase each photo. The selected design allowed us to break his images into a series of galleries based on his unique projects and add an archive of his previous work.

BobCarey.com was developed in 100% Flash using an animated gallery on the homepage to draw viewers to his wide array of photographic skills. At the time we used ActionScript 2.0 which was the curret standard scripting language. ActionScript is a scripting language which is used primarily for the development of websites and software using the Adobe Flash Player platform.

The end result was a cutting edge website that has improved the jobs that Bob Carey gets hired to do. We also helped Bob launch his new site by throwing a gallery opening at the Zenman studio that showcased the new website on several computers in the second floor design space and a traditional gallery with his Ballerina photos on our first floor. The launch gave future clients the chance to meet the talented, one of a kind, photographer.
